 Mr. Philip Hui is a senior associate for Royal Pacific Consulting Group and lives in Canada.

As an experienced business broker specializing in China to Canada business transactions, Philip has brokered over 250 business deals, including several Canadian air services.  

Mr. Hui’s ability to complete these transactions is based on many years of doing business inside/outside of China.   

Philip has a deep aviation background starting as an aircraft maintenance planning engineer for Cathay Pacific Airways living in Hong Kong to being the Accountable Executive for various air services in Canada.

 Jim Young is a senior advisor for Royal Pacific Consulting Group, specializing in airline and hotel modeling, forecasting and turnarounds.  

An established leader of large, worldwide organizations, Jim is well skilled in airline and hospitality start-up and transformation ventures.  Most notably as the president, CEO and Founder of the NewLeaf Travel Company, since acquired by Flair Airlines in June of 2017, then as chief financial officer for Flair Airlines until December of 2018. Being part of the Royal Pacific Consulting Group, Jim has just finished a two-year project leading the development of a resort hotel in Belize. 

During his career, Mr. Young has held various senior and executive management positions in the airline and hospitality industries including president of Canada Jetlines, vice president/chief marketing officer of Frontier Airlines in Denver, Colorado. He has also held executive positions as senior vice president of Global Distribution at InterContinental Hotels Group in London, UK and managing director-distribution planning at Continental Airlines in Houston, Texas. He began his aviation career at Canadian Airlines as manager, strategic planning. Additionally, Mr Young was one of the founders of the on-line travel agency Orbitz and served three years with the Airline Tariff Publishing Company (ATPCO) establishing pricing and distribution standards for airlines worldwide.

He was the 2007 executive in residence at the Georgia Institute of Technology School of Management as well as a published fellow at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated as a telecommunications engineer from SAIT Polytechnic.

Dale Tinevez is a Senior Consultant with Royal Pacific Consulting Group, specializing in aviation across all areas of operations, airports, commercial and cost efficiencies, and contract negotiations. He leverages his extensive senior leadership experience to drive operational efficiencies and develop new business opportunities for companies.

During his career, Dale became an instrumental leader with the newly established WestJet, where he held the position of Vice President, Airports, Inflight & Customer Experience. Over the next 15 years, he played a crucial role in expanding WestJet’s reach from four cities in Western Canada to over 100 international destinations. His leadership was pivotal in establishing WestJet as a leading service-oriented organization in North America.

Under Dale’s guidance, WestJet’s team of over 4,000 members achieved remarkable success, including induction into the Top Corporate Culture Hall of Fame, and securing the top spot in Waterstone’s ranking of Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures for four consecutive years. His approach and commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on the airline industry.

Dale focuses on driving organizational success through strategic planning, cultural transformation, and operational excellence. His legacy is defined by his unwavering commitment to fostering leadership and excellence across all facets of an organization.

With over a decade of diverse experience in aviation, Kristy is currently a Senior Advisor at Royal Pacific Consulting Group. Her career spans specialized expertise in technical writing, inflight services, training development, and regulatory compliance. Most recently, Kristy served as a Flight Attendant Manager and Transport Canada Designate at Central Mountain Air (CMA), where she managed regulatory compliance and training initiatives within the Inflight department. Her leadership was instrumental in smoothly integrating new aircraft into CMA’s operations and leading updates to uniform design—reflecting her commitment to operational excellence and team empowerment.

Prior to her role at CMA, Kristy held leadership positions with prominent Canadian airlines, including Swoop Airlines, where she led Base Operations in Western Canada, managing a team of over 200 flight attendants; and Sunwing Airlines, where she served as Cabin Safety Manager. Her background also includes work as a contract Inflight Instructor for multiple airlines, specializing in Initial, Annual, Requalification, and Differences Training.

Kristy’s expertise in technical writing and training development has been pivotal in creating clear, effective documentation for complex aviation procedures, contributing to enhanced performance and safety. Her healthcare administration experience further enriches her approach to organizational leadership and effective team collaboration.

Trevor Bertoia is a Senior Consultant with Royal Pacific Consulting Group, specializing in the preparation and maintenance of 704 and 705 Airlines Air Operator’s Certificates. This role is critical for new airline submissions in Canada. Trevor was previously the Director of Flight Operations for Central Mountain Air, and he held the position of chief pilot. Trevor is a Transport Canada Approved Check Pilot and is completing his Master of Business Administration Degree at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.
